## **Wafi Energy Pakistan Expands Fuel Storage Capacity with New 7.4 Million-Litre Tank in KP**

**KARACHI:** **Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited** has strengthened its fuel storage infrastructure with the inauguration of a **7.4 million-litre motor gasoline storage tank** at its **Tarru Jabba terminal in Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa**, reinforcing the company’s commitment to enhancing fuel supply reliability across Pakistan.

According to the company, the new storage facility is designed to boost fuel storage capacity, improve supply chain efficiency, and ensure uninterrupted fuel availability in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and along major transportation corridors leading to northern tourist destinations.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior officials from the **Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA)**, led by **Senior Executive Director (Enforcement) Sohail Ahmed Tariq**, along with representatives of Wafi Energy Pakistan.

Speaking at the event, **Wafi Energy Pakistan Chief Executive Officer Zubair Shaikh** said the company remains committed to investing in Pakistan’s energy infrastructure to meet the country’s growing fuel demand.

He emphasized that reliable fuel supply depends on both adequate storage capacity and strategically located infrastructure, adding that the new investment will enhance the company’s ability to serve customers while supporting the continued expansion of its **Shell-branded retail network** across Pakistan.

The company noted that construction of the storage tank was completed within one year, during which approximately **300,000 work-hours** were recorded without a single safety incident, reflecting its strong commitment to health, safety, and operational excellence.

According to Wafi Energy Pakistan, its **Shell retail network** has now expanded to **more than 700 fuel stations nationwide**, following the addition of **32 new retail sites** during 2026.

The company stated that the latest investment forms part of its long-term strategy to strengthen Pakistan’s fuel storage infrastructure, improve supply resilience, and support the country’s growing energy and transportation needs.
